Permutations Example 1

How many possible ways can you re-arrange the letters in the word MAN? Since there are 3 characters, the answer is 3 factorials or 3 x 2 x 1 = 6

Let's see if this is correct.

1. MAN
2. NAM
3. ANM
4. AMN
5. MNA
6. NMA

Yes, as you can see it is correct and also very easy.
