Permutations Example 2
How many ways can you rearrange the letters in the words MAN with the letter M always in front.
There's only 1 way to put the letter M.
For the remaining 2 letters A and N there is 2 x 1 = 2 ways
1. AN
2. NA
So, with M always in front, the number of combinations is 1 x 2 x 1 = 2 ways.
Let's check
1. MAN
2. MNA
Again, this is correct
